Many people in this speedy age of computers, mobile phones, heavy workload and full agendas come to the desert to get away from the pressures of modern life.
Sinai offers you a vast area of desert with wadis, mountains, sand dunes and oases. Together with one of our English speaking guides and local Bedouins you explore this magnificent desert famous for its great variation of colors, sand and rock. Mostly we use camels for transportation, but with the bigger parties we also take a 4 x 4 for luggage and stock. One of our great cooks will join you also in that case. We provide licenses, the desert kitchen with food and water and Bedouin tents to sleep in. You only bring your sleeping bag and mat, sun protection and walking shoes and there you go.
Different routes are available, some easier for the family trips and for those who want to take their time and the more challenging routes for the real desert foxes, who love a good days hike in rough terrain.

The White Desert area is unique because of the mushroom shaped rock formations of chalk. The terrain is more flat but never boring, you could find beautiful fossils everywhere. In and around the oases of Bahariyya, Farafra, Dakhla and el Khargha walking tours are organized as well, making a nice combination between the charms of the simple life in the oasis, the natural warm water wells with bubbles, salt lakes and sand dunes.

Siwa is the most remote oasis and very special. Tucked away in the north close to the border with Libya, it was on many former caravan routes through the Sahara. An other less explored area is Marsa Alam with beautiful wadis, hills and the Red Sea in the background, here you can make the fantastic combination of the riches of the desert and the Red Sea, just like in Sinai.
