Purpose
Giving back to the community of Egypt

As a Tour Company, we try to give back to Egypt and its local community as much as possible. We ask you to do the same when you can. On this page, we show you 2 NGO’s that are close to our hearts and why they need our support.

We are proud members of Pack for a Purpose, an initiative that allows travelers like you to make a lasting impact in the community at your travel destination. If you save just a few kilos of space in your suitcase and take supplies for the projects we support in need, you’ll make a priceless impact in the lives of our local children and families. Foundation Ard el Amal
Realizes daycare for children and young adults with multiple (intellectual and physical) disabilities by offering activities that stimulate the senses.
ACE | Animal Care in Egypt
Dedicated to Providing Free Vet Care for the Working Animals of Upper Egypt.

No school, no work, no optimal development opportunities. In Egypt, this is often the harsh reality for children and young adults with intellectual disabilities.

That is why Foundation Ard el Amal (Land of Hope) offers them a valuable and educational daycare.

The first Syndrome of Down Center of southern Egypt is also located at the site of Ard el Amal. Here we test the level of development of the children with the syndrome of Down. Based on the test results, we train parents on how they can support their child in its development in the coming month(s) at home. The follow-up appointments at Ard el Amal ensure continuity in the supervision of the children and their parents. The main goal is to stimulate the development of these children and get the parents trained.

Animal Care in Egypt is a charity dedicated to helping stop the suffering of thousands of animals in the poorest communities of Luxor by providing free veterinary care and education.

For almost twenty years we have been here to help the local animals when they need it most. This is alongside preventative treatments and education, delivering a long term impact on the welfare of working animals and the people that depend on them so greatly for their livelihoods. These hard working animals often lack the most basic veterinary care. Many are neglected or mistreated, not through malice, but due to lack of understanding or provisions.

Our dedicated team of vets treat and save the lives of thousands of animals all year round. We have a walk-in clinic, a hospital to perform crucial surgeries and 25 stables that allow the animals to rest from their working lives where they can recover. We closely monitor them, provide regular treatments and ensure their progress back to health.
